Jory Lawson, Lead Pastor

Although I grew up in Wausau, WI, I am not new to the Fox Valley, as I was born in Appleton. I first moved to Fond du Lac in 2008 when I began attending Marian University in pursuit of a nursing degree. Despite graduating with a BSN, I found God calling me to join staff with Cru (a college campus ministry), where I served for five years on the local campuses. It was during this time that I met my incredible wife Emma, and we got married in 2015. Since then, we have been blessed with two sons: Trigg and Beau. In 2019, after serving as Thrive’s youth intern/pastor for four years, I became the lead pastor and have since completed a Masters Degree in Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, drinking coffee, playing games and either watching or playing practically any sport, especially football.I want to let you know that it is my desire and prayer for you to come to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Choosing Jesus is the best decision I have made and He is the only One you will find true life and satisfaction in.
